The 3D radar analysis images were generated by Grace Cohen, which involved the creation of over a thousand files. Chris Broyles did the color-coding for each feature, the storm-scale annotations, and added a Google Earth map. The two worked together during the analysis to achieve a high level of accuracy and precision. The analysis for each animation took approximately 24 to 72 working hours. The 3D animations show the cell merger-DRC process in high-end tornadogenesis. The DBZ level that highlighted the natural 3-dimensional spatial constraint of each feature was used. The planar and cross-sections were examined for confirmation. For details on the cell merger-DRC process, click on 3D Radar Analysis.
